Cremated Remains (Ashes)

Following cremation, the ashes (also known as cremated remains) will be available to collect and keep, scatter, or bury in a cemetery or churchyard.

We can help you to organise a burial of ashes (sometimes called an interment of cremated remains) even if we haven’t handled the funeral arrangements for you.

We will guide you through the decisions which need to be made, for example which cemetery or churchyard you would like the ashes to be buried in, what container you’d like the ashes to be in, and when you’d like it to happen. We will liaise with all the necessary authorities and help you to complete any relevant paperwork. In some cemeteries we’ll need to prepare (dig) the small grave plot, whereas in others the owner of the cemetery will do this.

Of course, we’ll only charge you for what we do. Our prices are listed here and we’re always happy to quote for unusual or more bespoke requests.

If you would like to discuss burying ashes in St Neots, Huntingdon, St Ives and the surrounding areas, please do not hesitate to contact us.
