The Kingfisher Goodbye Service is priced at just £2,595.00, and includes all of the following:

• our professional fee for making all arrangements and ensuring all legal paperwork is completed and in place
• bringing the person who has died into our care during normal office hours
• a simple, standard-sized coffin
• visits to our chapel of rest before the Goodbye Service if required
• a notice on our website to inform friends and family of the arrangements
• the use of one of our premises for an hour at a time convenient to us all (our rooms have seating for up to 25 people)
• as many pieces of music of your own choice as you’d like
• Huntingdon crematorium’s direct cremation fee (no attendance permitted)

Within reason, you can do what you like during the hour you have. There won’t be any formal ceremony, but we’ll set the room up for you, you can bring photos, memorabilia, flowers … whatever you like. Why not raise a toast to the person who has died?

After the time you’ve spent at our premises, we’ll take the coffin to the crematorium, and the cremated remains (ashes) can be returned to you within a few days.

Most crematoria offer a Goodbye Service, but restrict the time you have to 10 minutes either early morning or late afternoon. They also specify a maximum number of attendees, and only allow two pieces of music. We remove all of these impositions, and keep everything local too.

All we ask is that the £2,595 is paid before the funeral is confirmed. If it is paid by BACS transfer, we allow a discount of £100 making the cost £2,495.

If you call us out when the office is not open (ie not between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday) there will be an additional charge of £175.
