Now the dust has settled (literally!) after Dad’s funeral, I would just like to thank you and your colleagues for all the help you gave us. You came highly recommended by a friend and I can honestly say from the moment I walked into the funeral home until the end of the service, we received nothing but kindness and consideration and expert attention to detail by everybody at Kingfisher. I did not know where to turn for a funeral director. This was something completely unexpected following the short illness of my husband. I visited Kingfisher with my sister in Huntingdon and met Claire. From the start she listened and very quickly appreciated my personal predicament. My initial impression of Claire being kind, friendly, compassionate and professional has been reflected throughout the support Kingfisher has given me. On the day of the funeral Nicki was caring, discreet and so very professional and I felt we were in safe hands on this very difficult day. Nothing was too much trouble and Kingfisher were happy to discuss options and allow us the time to do those personal things that matter. I cannot recommend Kingfisher highly enough.
My wife passed away on the 11th October. I was recommended by a friend and was well pleased with service from Kingfisher Funerals. The whole event ran as clockwork. Kingfisher immediately struck us as being more accessible and personable than other providers we visited. They handled all the proceedings with great empathy, flexibility and sensitivity. We visited all three funeral directors in St Neots before being drawn to Kingfishers. They are lovely people, with a warm, friendly and caring approach. They explained all the options to us and gave us time to decide what we wanted. What impressed me the most, my husband had been ill for many years, with a number of disabilities, so it was hard to think beyond those times. But by listening to my family and I talk about the past (the better times) the celebrant was able to give my husband the send-off he deserved and reminded us of the good and fun times. And even now, nearly 5 months on, they still stop and ask how we are. We are really grateful for their help and the kindness they showed us.
