Headstones, plaques and memorials
A memorial is a very personal creation, and becomes a visible memory of a person who has died. For this reason, we recommend that you take as much time as you need to think about the design and the wording on the memorial. There is no hurry, and we will help you at every stage in the process.
Most cemeteries and churchyards require that the ground is left for 3 to 12 months before a memorial is fixed, to allow the ground to settle after the interment has taken place.
Types of memorial
We supply headstones, plaques, kerb sets, vases and many other types of memorials, to suit all budgets.
Lawn memorials
These are designed for lawn cemeteries, often in council-run cemeteries, where headstones are fixed to plinths and kerbs are not generally permitted.
Churchyard memorials
Churchyards often have stricter rules than council-run cemeteries, particularly in the type and colour of stone that is permitted so check with us first.
Kerb set memorials
We have a wide range of kerb set memorials. Check with us before you set your heart on something though as not all cemeteries permit kerb set.
Books, scrolls and heart memorials
We offer a wide range of books, scrolls and heart memorials but please note that not all cemeteries allow this type of memorial so check with us first.
Desk tablets and vase memorials
We offer a range of desk tablets and vase memorials, but please note that not all cemeteries allow this type of memorial, so please check with us before you decide.
About our costs
We do not have to charge VAT on memorials, which can save you a considerable amount of money and we guarantee a personal service with no pressure, and will give free advice regarding any aspect of memorialisation.
