http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hereford-worcester-12388011 This is a great and innovative use of heat generated by a crematorium being recycled and used to heat a leisure centre. There are, of course, objections on the grounds of lack of taste, but is this really justified? The heat that is generated in a crematorium is immense, and once “used” is wasted. Why not put it to good use?
Kingfisher Independent Funeral Services is thoroughly in favour of recycling and re-using any of the earth’s valuable resources. We promote the use of eco-friendly coffins and green burial. We recycle almost all of the waste generated by the business, and we are very proud of this.
